"Thank you to everyone for agreeing to take part in this rescue mission. I apologise for my tardiness, I had an unexpected pickle jar incident. My hands have been freed and I am ready to lead this mission.
I will be direct. We have received word that a number of both Klingon and Federation citizens were taken to a Monean colony in the Delta Quadrant for an unknown purpose. The KDF has contacted the Moneans, but they claim to have no knowledge of the whereabouts of these individuals, however they agreed to allow us to visit their planet and investigate for ourselves.
A warning. Moneans are a water-dwelling species. They have agreed to supply us with the necessary equipment, however please anticipate moisture. We will also be joined by our KDF allies as a number of the missing individuals are Klingon citizens.
